I’ve never been to the beach in October because I didn’t think I’d enjoy a cold beach.
I was wrong, wrong. May have the most beautiful time of the year to go to the beach. Even without the bathing suit. Especially without the swimsuit?? 🤷♀️

Visited the Nauset Beach Lighthouse on this excursion, too. Built in 1877 – moved to its present location in 1996 – the lighthouse was also gorgeous.
Full on winter coat, pants and shoes with the waves crashing in towards me. Asking to ruin my day with soggy socks and feet. In the words of tswift and Lana Del Ray’s snow on the beach… “weird but fucking beautiful.”
Visiting Milan for our yearly trip to New England. We’ve hit a lot of new spots – and off to the cape for the first time tomorrow ❤️⚓️
Massachusetts is absolutely gorgeous right now. The fall colors and spooky weather are unmatched and I’m so happy to experience it.
Since I’m not super into museums and history – and that’s what we’ve been doing- I’ve been forced to slow down enough to notice the beautiful scenery before zoning out completely.
I’ll get and extra long fall once I get back to Arkansas and that’s fine with me.
This weekend felt like the first REAL weekend of Fall. My autumnal equinox if you will.
September was too damn hot to feel like Fall. Between my mental illness and never going outside bc the world is on fire, I voided September altogether.

The weather, getting together with friends at the brewery, darker hair, pumpkin seeds 🤤, decor and so, so many deer in the front yard.
Who needs a life when they make shows this good? Who can discuss this show with me? Florence Pugh? Didn’t know they made actresses like her. Costa D’ Angelo as young Adam Trask? Don’t do it to me! 🥵

With this in mind I promised myself that at Kessler’s parent teacher conference no matter what was said that I would defend her, praise her, tell her she’s such a good girl and remind her how much I love her.

She was out of school today so we went on a bike ride, got a macaroon and a new craft. We snuggled and laughed and I made sure I told her I loved her over and over.
Her report from the teacher was great, and she’s super smart – which I already knew.
But what if it had gone differently? Isn’t this still the treatment she deserves?

1. Pointelle Crop Top by Zemeta and Agoldie Jeans – obsessed. these are the best jeans I’ve ever owned.
2. Lululemon Align Set in pink – so comfy I could wear them everyday if possible.
3. Emery Mini Dress by Show Me Your Mumu – should have bought this dress but didn’t. Effortless, comfy, flattering.
4. Fit and Flare tie back mini dress by Kimchi Blue – sooooo fun, never would have bought this irl, so glad I rented it!
5. Paneled Shift Dress by Anthro- Adorable fabric + trendy with the polka dots. Covered my armpit fat (which is the only reason it’s ranking in at 5.) No shape otherwise.
6. Pact Organic Cotton square neck tank + justUSA jeans + vintage American Eagle weaved belt + Ariat boots – just a country girl at heart.
7. Cotton James Perse hand-me-down tee + Vintage Lucky brand jeans also cotton – mom chic asf
8. ASTR the label top + old navy jeans + favorite earrings + flip flops. This one honestly ranks higher but I’m not reassigning numbers.

10. Skims maxi dress ranks #10 because that color – horrid. The shape and feel of the dress also do not love. Shows every imperfection.

Kessler Jane the artist August 2026 Cannas got huge this year despite the drought Baby Bendyl Caleb’s girlfriend acts up more than I do. Dropper post constantly breaking. Kessler can ride her bike without training wheels at four. She blows me away.
Getting film back is the best part about shooting film.
