My teachers always had some shit to say about me.

She talks too much

She’s dramatic

She has a bad attitude

I was usually met with gentleness from my mom until she got tired of it too.

With this in mind I promised myself that at Kessler’s parent teacher conference no matter what was said that I would defend her, praise her, tell her she’s such a good girl and remind her how much I love her.

My daughter is fucking perfect – perfectly imperfect , ok!? 🤣🤣❤️

She was out of school today so we went on a bike ride, got a macaroon and a new craft. We snuggled and laughed and I made sure I told her I loved her over and over.

Her report from the teacher was great, and she’s super smart – which I already knew.

But what if it had gone differently? Isn’t this still the treatment she deserves?
