small things from this week I would be sad to forget

How my daughter told me over and over again while I was laying her down for her nap that she loved me. “I love you Mommy.” 5 minutes later “I like you Mommy.” Even if this was a tactic to stay awake for longer it still felt so good.

Making a backyard fire, roasting hot dogs and lighting marshmallows on fire with my nephews. “Smoking smores” as Loxley called it.

Teaching yoga and feeling really proud of myself afterwards. Not because I did a perfect job but because I was brave enough to try and I never thought I’d be up there in front. Never thought I’d have that kind of voice. People telling me it was a good class. Getting hugged.

Going to dinner at Haleigh’s house. Getting a hug from her for the first time in a long time, her making me soup and getting to read her tarot.

Reading my mom and sister tarot and my mom telling me it was really helpful for her.

xoxo,

Taylor
